Jordan Grand Tour

After breakfast, start the journey by driving to the North for full day tour visiting Jerash; the best preserved city of the Roman times; theaters, temples, and the colonnaded street. Proceed to Ajloun visiting Al-Rabid Castle; the 12th century Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. Transfer back to Amman hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, start the tour of the old city of Amman exploring the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Head East into the desert and visit some of Jordan’s Desert Castles. They are beautiful examples of early Islamic art and architecture, with fine mosaics and fresco. See the stunning artwork in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qasr Amra. Back to Amman for overnight.

Breakfast at Amman hotel & check out. Drive to explore the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. See the “Madaba Map”, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land. 'Continue to Mount Nebo to visit the site where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land, and later died and was buried. Afterwards, continue the journey to South Jordan to reach Kerak and visit the Crusaders' Castle. Drive to Petra for overnight.

After breakfast, start a full day visit of the “Rose Red City” of Petra – a treasure of the ancient world. Celebrating in 2012 the 200th year of its rediscovery, the ancient Nabatean city of Petra is considered as one of the World’s Seven Wonders. It is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. In 1985 Petra was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin your visit by enjoying a walk or a short horse ride from Petra’s main entrance to the entrance of the old city through the “Siq”, which is a 1210 meters long narrow canyon. As you reach the end of the Siq, the first and greatest monument of Petra slowly comes into view - this is the famous Treasury monument “Al Khazneh”. Petra is an extraordinary and unique place, which was built by the Arab Nabatean more than 2000 years ago. Transfer to Wadi Rum for dinner & overnight.

After breakfast & check out from the camp, and enjoy 02 hours 4x4 jeep ride in the dazzling desert of the Moon Valley, which is a great setting for Hollywood’s blockbuster movies, such as the Martian, Lawrence of Arabia, and many more. Drive to Aqaba to spend the rest of the day relaxing; either by exploring the downtown markets or sunbathe at the beach. We can also try snorkeling or scuba diving where you will admire the world-renowned multi-colored coral reefs, fish and wildlife under the clear blue water. Overnight at Aqaba hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Dead Sea. Enjoy the sunshine at the lowest point on earth, whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin. Transfer to Amman hotel for overnight.

Breakfast at Amman hotel & check out. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
